The film told the story of Mowgli, a feral child raised in the jungle by wolves, who has to leave his home when the tiger Shere Khan threatens his life. Based on the Rudyard Kipling book of the same name, it was directed by Wolfgang Reitherman and featured the voices of Bruce Reitherman, Sebastian Cabot, Louis Prima, Phil Harris, and George Sanders.
